PSAP Governing Authority List
Staff at the North Carolina Wireless 911 Board has recently created a table
indicating what Local Government authorities are responsible for 911 PSAPs that
receive and process wireless 911 calls (Primary PSAPs). That table has been
posted to the Wireless Board website at
http://www.ncwireless911.org/psaps.asp. Choose
the ‘PSAP Governing Authorities’ heading to view the table. We want to ensure
that the information in the table is correct, so we are asking PSAP
administrative staff members knowledgeable about that information to review the
table for accuracy. If you find an error regarding your PSAP, please click on
the link in the introductory paragraph of the document to open an email feedback
window, and send us your correction. The Wireless Board staff wants to thank
both the NCAPCO and NCNENA chapters for posting this request on their web pages
in an effort to reach as many people as possible with this message.
