Guilford Metro 911 was honored on Monday, April 25th to have Congressman Mark Walker visit the 9-1-1 center. In February, as part of the 9-1-1 Goes to Washington event, Congressman Walker was invited to come in and tour his hometown PSAP. He took them up on that offer Monday! Congressman Walker was very impressed with the PSAP operations and facility. While there, he also honored Telecommunicator Kim Hooker with this “Community Hero of the Month” award for May. Congratulations to Kim!!
