Welcome to North Carolina!

            As the current President of the North Carolina Chapter of APCO, I extend to each and every one of you a personal invitation to attend the 2010 APCO East Coast Regional Conference.  Our conference theme is “Racing into the Future with 9-1-1!”  Hosted in Concord, North Carolina, conference attendees will be exposed to the best of NASCAR, great food, outlet shopping and entertaining social activities!   The North Carolina Chapter of APCO has worked hard to provide all attendees, vendors and guests with a very ambitious conference, full of great learning opportunities, exhibits and activities. 

            Like most states, we are all working within the constraints of a fiscally conservative budget that is a reflection of the current economic climate, especially in the public sector.  It is for this reason that I thank you on behalf of the NC Chapter of APCO for valuing your staff and the training, networking and social opportunities enough to support this East Coast Regional Conference.
